Tucked away on East 10th street, Quintessence has been an East Village staple for years. Quintessence is a completely vegan restaurant, but every dish that comes out of the kitchen is packed with flavor and sure to satisfy. Initially, the restaurant only served raw food, but over the years, cooked dishes, such as quinoa bowls and vegetable stews, have been added to cater to customers’ desires. Regardless of what you get, you can be assured that it has been made from scratch, and made with love.
